These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Nova, including game browsing, friends, follows, parties, invites, multiplayer rooms, WebRTC multiplayer, creator tools, uploaded assets, user-created games, and related pages, content, and services.
By accessing or using Nova, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any policies linked from Nova, including Nova’s Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Nova.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nova. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Nova only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Nova is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required parental notice and consent. If you are not allowed to use online services where you live, do not use Nova.
Nova may let you use a chosen username, display name, browser session, local guest ID, or similar account-like identifier. You are responsible for choosing a safe, non-misleading username and for activity associated with your device, browser, or session.
You may not choose a username or identity that impersonates another person or brand, is illegal, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, deceptive, or otherwise violates these Terms.
You are responsible for protecting your device and browser session. If you share a device, someone else may be able to access your Nova session, saved projects, friend features, or creator tools.
Your username may appear in welcome screens, profile-style displays, friend search, friends lists, friend requests, follow features, parties, invite flows, shared room or lobby activity, multiplayer game sessions, published content, and creator-related areas.
By using Nova, you acknowledge and accept that your username and related activity may be seen by other users in those contexts.
Nova may allow you to search for users, send or receive friend requests, follow users, build parties, accept or decline invites, join rooms, and share invite links.
If you use these features, your username, party status, invite status, selected game, room activity, and related session activity may be visible to the users involved in those interactions. Nova is not responsible for what other users do with invite links or shared room information after you send or share them.
You may not use Nova’s social, follow, invite, party, or room systems for spam, harassment, stalking, deception, impersonation, unauthorized contact, or unsafe behavior.
Nova may provide multiplayer lobbies, room identifiers, party states, ready states, selected games, player roles, scores, game state, and other session data to make multiplayer features work.
Some Nova multiplayer features may use WebRTC peer-to-peer technology. WebRTC may require connection setup, signaling, ICE candidates, STUN or TURN services, session descriptions, connection state, and browser or network metadata so players can connect. Depending on your browser and network, some connection information may be exchanged between players or with infrastructure used to connect the session.
Multiplayer experiences may fail, disconnect, lag, desync, reconnect, expose inaccurate state, or end unexpectedly. Nova does not guarantee that multiplayer features, WebRTC connections, signaling, lobbies, rooms, or games will always be available, secure, error-free, private, synchronized, or uninterrupted.
Nova may allow users to create, upload, edit, save, publish, and share games, code, titles, descriptions, icons, backgrounds, images, characters, objects, labels, animations, settings, Firebase or multiplayer configuration, and other content.
You are solely responsible for anything you create, upload, publish, share, or make available through Nova. You represent that you have the rights needed to use and upload your content and that your content does not violate any law, third-party right, privacy right, intellectual property right, or these Terms.
You may not use Nova to create, upload, publish, share, or transmit content that is illegal, fraudulent, harmful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, impersonating, infringing, unsafe, or otherwise harmful.
You may not upload malware, malicious scripts, exploits, scams, spam, unauthorized advertising, or code that damages Nova, users, devices, databases, multiplayer rooms, invite systems, creator tools, or connected services.
You also may not abuse invites or rooms, disrupt games, overload platform systems, scrape restricted data, reverse engineer restricted parts of Nova, or interfere with another user’s ability to use the platform.
You keep ownership of content you own. By submitting content to Nova, you give Nova a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, adapt for technical formatting, publish, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, promote, and provide Nova.
This license lasts for as long as your content is available on or through Nova, and for any reasonable backup, archival, moderation, legal, safety, or enforcement purpose.
Some parts of Nova may be limited to approved creators or users with access keys, creator tools, publishing permissions, multiplayer keys, project editing access, or similar elevated features.
You may not bypass creator restrictions, misuse creator tools, share restricted access in an unauthorized way, or use creator access to damage Nova, other users, or Nova’s systems.
Nova may rely on third-party infrastructure and tools, including services such as Firebase, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, hosting, analytics, security tools, browser APIs, WebRTC signaling, STUN or TURN connection services, and similar providers. Those services may process information as needed to operate, secure, and support Nova.
Nova may review, restrict, hide, suspend, delete, remove, disable, or refuse any username, game, asset, project, room, invite, link, or account activity at any time if Nova believes it violates these Terms, creates legal or technical risk, harms other users, or threatens the platform.
Nova is not required to provide advance notice before taking moderation or enforcement action.
Nova may change, update, pause, limit, or remove any part of the platform at any time. Features may break, be unavailable, load incorrectly, lose data, or stop working without notice.
Nova does not guarantee uptime, availability, compatibility, persistence of saved data, uninterrupted access, or permanent availability of any game, asset, room, invite, project, or creator tool.
Your use of Nova is also subject to Nova’s Privacy Policy. That policy explains what information Nova may collect, how it may be used, and how it may be shared or handled.
You may not reverse engineer, exploit, scrape, disrupt, attack, overload, probe, or interfere with Nova, its databases, creator tools, multiplayer flows, WebRTC signaling, invite systems, game loading, or connected services.
You also may not use automation, bots, fake accounts, deceptive links, malicious scripts, or unauthorized tools to manipulate Nova, games, rooms, creators, or users.
Nova may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the platform at any time, with or without notice, if Nova believes you violated these Terms or created risk for Nova or its users. You may stop using Nova at any time.
Termination does not automatically remove backups, records, logs, or moderation history that Nova may keep for legitimate business, safety, technical, or legal purposes.
Nova is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nova disclaims warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, security, and availability.
Nova does not guarantee that the platform, multiplayer features, WebRTC connections, invite flows, creator tools, or user-created games will be safe, uninterrupted, error-free, private, secure, or free from loss, corruption, or unauthorized access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, business, content, or access arising out of or related to your use of Nova.
If the law does not allow a full limitation of liability, Nova’s liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
Nova may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. If you continue using Nova after updated Terms are posted, you agree to the revised Terms.
